    Hello – My name is Neil Watson. I am in the UK, currently working on a book about Harry Nilsson told from the perspective of fans and people who worked with him. A name that has reoccurred several times is Terry Oates. I googled him and the first thing that came up was an entry in your blog (https://vinylmemories.wordpress.com/2020/01/21/a-personal-history-of-the-british-record-industry-80-terry-oates/)
    In it there is a mention of the name Del Newton, and the comment next to it is that your google searches have drawn a blank and asked for help.
    I think you might mean Dale Newton, not Del. Dale is one of my interviewees who worked with Terry Oates at RCA.
    I hope that may help.
    Also, if you have any recollections or thoughts on Harry Nilsson, I’d be very interested to hear. Thank you and best regards
