Memories of Lime Grove – the follow up!

Now I know no one reads these meanderings – they are here just as an occasional outlet for the rare moments when I feel the need to say something!

However, the entry two pieces down about Lime Grove found the eyes of none other than the BBC who sent a nice man, David Sillito,  with a microphone, a cameraman and another person to interview me, seemingly about Lime Grove and the innocent side of Top of the Pops.

It manifested itself as 10 seconds on BBC News at Ten last night as part of a story about a lady who had sex with John Peel when she was 15 and the chance to mention Jimmy Savile again. I said something about the press not being as investigative in those days (except for the “I made my excuses and left” tales in the News of the Screws of a Sunday!) and that was that

Still….shows I’m not dead yet!
