January 1st 2012 – will the resolution work this year?

Vinyl memories -maybe this year will be the one to get to grips with this blog. Vinyl has consumed my life, and at time of writing I have more records in the house than at any time, with thousands more to come as I clear another full collection from a friend who’s even older than me! Collector’s Vinyl (www.collectorsvinyl.co.uk) has been running as a hobby since 1976. Created originally to try and move on some of my own collection, it quickly mushroomed with work colleagues asking if I’d auction their records and now, 36 years later, is still proving that there IS a strong market for vinyl. The common-or-garden records are now virtually impossible to shift, but the rare one get rarer and it’s unusual for any auction to end without at least one disc realising over £100.

Here’s one rarity from the forthcoming list. You can follow the auction online or just add a comment if you’d like a printed list.
